WebApr 17, 2011 · I'm pretty sure what I do have now is incorrect. After looking at numerous houses with these little boxes, I see that none of them return any further than the corner. My design I came up with has them returning about 1' into the rake walls-past the corner. While I'm sure this would work, it doesn't look normal so it isn't going to stay up there.
