WebFeb 27, 2012 · I use fish glue for most of my gluing. The Norland brand is commonly used, and is available (rebranded) at Lee Valley. It dries clear and hard - great for joining plates. The one property to keep in mind is the extended open/clamping time. It has a really long open open time (advantage), but must be clamped for 12 hours (disadvantage).
