Hey I just learned how to fix the white screen of death all you do is hold the home button then while still holding down the home button hold volume up button then while still holding those buttons go head and hold the power off button and hold that until you see the apple sign and THIS REALLY WORKS SO TRY IT. My ipod just did that then I plugged it into the computer to see if that would help..it didnt so with my ipod plugged into the computer I reset it (hold the off and home keys for 5-15 mins) then the plug into itunes thing poped up and it needed a update.
