WebJan 12, 2024 · The repair for this rattle is as follows per SRT/Jeep Engineering. Loosen engine mounts and pry engine over as far to the right as it will go, then re-tighten engine mounts. Left cat is very close to firewall/heat shield and by moving engine to right it gives an extra 1/8" gap to the heat shield. WebSep 14, 2012 · I would have the rattle sound only when I speed up.
