I took it in for the injector issue, but it was also throwing a code relate to the cam shaft position being out of sequence. Slight wear on every piece adds up to a longer chain. If no camshaft-crankshaft correlation fault code exists and no noise from the chain is exhibited then no problem exists. WebFeb 12, 2024 · It seems right up to the limit as I understand the 8 links and 16 pins, the pins must be just inside the measurement to be withing the limit. I used 4.8265 inches as caliper varied to that. When I compared to the new chain hanging down from a straight plane, there was probably a little more length in the old chain, but like 3mm to 5mm at a guess.
